In Knight Terrors #1 (of 4), it is revealed that Insomnia believes himself to be a God of Nightmares.
So, Deadman who has possessed Batman’s body, while he his mind is tormented by nightmares, possesses Insomnia to learn more about him.
First, he learns of the Nightmare Stone, different from the Dreamstone, that the Golden Age Sandman Wesley Dodds, of the Justice Society of America (JSA) had some hand in possibly creating.
Second, we starting to unravel Insomnia’s secret origin.
Turns out the Lazarus Rain impacted an Arkham Asylum inmate patient.
Insomnia is not a god, but a man.
Deadman senses the joy of family with Insomnia’s alter ego and traverses towards those memories.
However, Insomnia pushes Deadman out of his body.
That leaves Deadman to escape in Batman’s body.
We also learn of a seeming weakness of Insomnia as his time in the waking real world may be time limited to short bursts as he’s pulled back in the Nightmare Realm.
The issue ends with Deadman in a cemetery with a vial of Lazarus Rain that Batman had kept.
Deadman uses it to bring back from the dead the Golden Age Sandman Wesley Dodds!
Best tease ever ends the issue: “Zombie Sandman and Batman / Deadman Team-up…” next issue.

The shared dream morphs into two separate ones for Robin and Red Hood.

Looks like Zatanna can bring others into her nightmare through her magic.
However, she doesn’t have a favorable view of the Doom Patrol considering her last meeting with them saw her father Zatara die during a séance.
Well, now the zombie Doom Patrol haunts Zatanna and Cliff.
As does zombie Zatara.
