DC Comics and Infinite Frontier #6 Spoilers and Review follows.
The Most Important Comic Book Of 2021?!
And, possibly 2022 and beyond?
Darkseid and more loom large.
It’s been a wild ride to get here.
Well, the Flash Barry Allen is running to an important role in this issue as…
…Justice Incarnate battles Injustice Incarnate.
That culminates with President Superman taking out Justice Incarnate’s traitor.
And, here comes the Flash…
…to kick off the fireworks and…
…unshackle the multiverse and Roy Harper’s connection to the power of the Black Lantern or Omega Lantern.
Darkseid is upset, Psycho-Pirate escapes and…
…the Justice Incarnate traitor pays with his life for this turn of events.
Darkseid also sends everyone away from Earth Omega; he’s done with them and this event series.
From there this issues does a few significant things for DC Comics’ publishing plan:
- Sets up the new Justice League Incarnate series debuting in less than 3 months.
- Teasing a further Darkseid centric event that may also be seeded in the recent issue of Green Lantern.
- Sets up a multiverses (plural) event for 2022 of beyond Crisis-like proportions.
It also ties up some loose sends setting up where some of the characters are at the end of this series…
…as well as putting Roy Harper on the path to Teen Titans Academy and the school that bears him as a memorial.
Amazon also has the Infinite Frontier hardcover, collecting this series and a bit more, available in February 2022.
The Pulse:
Compelling story and decent art, but this is not the end despite it being a series finale. 7 out of 10.
