AEW’s Revolution 2022 Sees No Championships Changes Hands, But It Was Still A Night Of Surprises!

Here was the card.

There were four championship matches of the night with:

  • Adam Page defending his AEW World Heavyweight Championship against Adam Cole
  • AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker defending her title against Thunder Rosa
  • The undefeated TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs challenger Tay Conti.
  • AEW Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express versus reDRagon and the Young Bucks.

The champions retained in all cases. TNT Championship was part of a Tornado Trios match that his team, made up of Darby Allin and Sting, won against Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo and Isiah Kassidy, but his title was not on the line.

Some surprises for the night included:

  • The winner of the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match and his betrayal of a long-time partner later on the PPV here.
  • Two new signings of former WWE talent here and here.
  • A new Women’s World Championship belt debut here.
