Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead rises on 4K UHD in Jan

Ever shown up early at a shopping mall and observed the Mall Walkers doing their rounds? They use the climate-controlled space to get their daily steps recorded, but some of them are rather old and look like they’re haunting the space. That’s sort of what George Romero gave us when Dawn of the Dead originally showed up in 1978. Nearly 25 years later future stars James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) rewrote the script and Zack Snyder (Watchmen) directed a new version for the 21st Century. It still has the zombies wanting to return to the safe confines of the mall, but goes a little farther in the action. The new version is getting upgraded to 4K UHD by Scream Factory.
